Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Site Officer to join our Facilities Management team at a secondary school in Peterborough. This is a permanent position working staggered shifts of 8 hours per day between 06.00 and 22.00, Monday to Friday.

**The role**:

- Reporting to the Senior Facilities Site Officer
- To provide an effective and professional caretaking service to the school and actively participate in the delivery of both hard and soft FM services
- To be the first point of on-site contact to attend to requests raised through the facilities service helpdesk and other support functions
- To receive incoming goods and ensure correct distribution and movement of goods, furniture etc. around the site

**The person**:

- Experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting
- Must be adept in minor repairs/maintenance work involving that of a general handyperson or DIY enthusiast
- Be willing to participate with the ‘on call’ rota operating 24 hour / 7 day standby / call out service
- Be able to communicate with people at all levels
- Experience of working within a team to provide an excellent service
- Must have a full valid driving licence
