Facilities Site Officer – Peterborough Equans is seeking a Facilities Site Officer to join our team at Jack Hunt Academy, Bradwell Road, Peterborough PE3 9PY on a full‑time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week. Competitive salary of £28,010 per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package. Shift Pattern Two‑weekly rotation: Week 1: 5:30 am – 2:30 pm Week 2: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Week 3: 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm 8 hours per day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. On‑call rota 1 in 4 with payment of £12.50 per day. Responsibilities Act as focal point for three school facilities teams, resolving on‑site and helpdesk facilities requests. Ensure successful completion of installations, repairs, planned maintenance and general premises checks. Participate in 24/7 on‑call rota. Qualifications Experience in facilities management, building maintenance or related field. Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proactive, adaptable with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, contractors and management. Commitment to excellent service and maintaining a safe working environment. Mandatory DBS clearance – proof of right to work in the UK required.
