We are currently recruiting for the role of**Business Development Manager, Education.**

This is a key role, where you will develop, implement and evolve a sector strategy in line with the overall company goals, highlighting key opportunities, focus areas for development and a plan of activity, through detailed analysis/insight and direct/proactivebusiness development.

This front-line role will also include the development of high-level strategic relationships with key contacts in the sector, influential organisations, key accounts and relevant trade bodies.

**Role Details**
- Salary: £40 - £45000 per annum
- Role based: National
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 25 plus bank holidays

**Role Responsibilities**
- Explore, identify and develop strategic partners through proactive business development activity
- Develop new and existing key accounts
- Network within the sector both through social media and face to face events
- Lead regular sector insight meetings with business units/marketing/finance to share and gather sector insight, expertise, discussing opportunities/issues/priorities etc.
- Presenting sector strategy to the senior management team, giving clarity to business focus and opportunities
- Provide sector expertise and knowledge and support to the commercial teams to achieve KPI goals

We are looking for someone who has:

- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of negotiating, influencing and persuading key stakeholders
- The ability to make rational judgements from available information and analysis
- Excellent networking skills and the ability to build credible, high level, business relationships
- Strategic account management experience
- A strong commercial and contractual understanding and knowledge
