**Hours - 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09.00 am - 17.00 pm (Half hour unpaid break)**
**Location**:Head Office, Kingdom House, 1 Woodlands Park, Ashton Road, Newton-Le-Willows, WA12 0HF
**What the role is**:
Delivery of great service thorough ownership, process and effective contribution to the People team function.
**What we need from you - skill base requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR or office management role holding appropriate industry and management level qualifications are a distinct advantage supported with evidence of achieving results.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including excel and word. Working knowledge of other HR management systems would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and partner with key stakeholders cross functionally
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment & comfortable with continual change
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills with high attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise to meet timescales and deadlines
- A fast learner who can hit the ground running and motivated to drive their own personal development and willing to develop new skills and undertake responsibility.
- A team player as well as working independently with a focus on sharing best practise and supporting sector wide enhancement
- Excellent oral & written communication skills for effectively interfacing with all levels of management and departments within the business
- Ability to interpret and support the future critical and high priority needs of the business
**What you will be doing and how to achieve success**

**Delivering Service Excellence - HOW**
- Understanding the Kingdom business, Company Policies and processes
- Support in development and implementation of robust people processes.
- Mentor, motivate and inspire others in your team to be competent, compliant, confident and empowered People Team ambassadors
- General support to the People Team Manager and Leadership Team
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR function
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Recruitment & Payroll functions to ensure the needs of the business are met in a timely manner.
**HR Management - HOW**
- Maternity and Paternity
- Calculating Entitlement
- Risk assessment and policy compliance
- ERT/ Disciplinary/ Grievance/ Appeals
- Providing advice and guidance on company policy and procedures to all levels of the business
- Administration and management of ER case work
- TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) Management
- Administer end to end TUPE process for all TUPE transfers (including ELI, RTW checks, onboarding)
- Site end processing including reallocation and redundancy
- Providing advice and guidance on company policy and procedures to all levels of the business
- Absence Management
- Managing short
- and long-term absence cases
- Issuing improvement notices
- Welfare calls
- Medical report requests
- Return to work management
- Benefits and welfare
- Administration and management of Group Benefits packages including Death in service, pensions, company sick pay etc
- Ensure an effective service delivery
- Review current packages
- Research and implement improved packages
- Providing advice, guidance and training to People team Advisors
- General team management
- Work in partnership with the leadership team to contribute to and develop People policies, processes, initiatives and services within the context of the wider business strategy, undertaking project work as required.
