Derby & Derbyshire ICB are seeking a pharmacy leader with the vision and skills to engage stakeholders and integrate services.

The post holder will be responsible for the development, implementation and clinical governance of Community Pharmacy clinical services within Derbyshire; working in collaboration with the Joined Up Care Derbyshire (ICS) primary care commissioning and pharmacy teams, colleagues within NHS Trusts and other key stakeholders (e.g. LPC, LPN, AHSN).

The post holder will work with national, regional and system colleagues and teams to help deliver the best value from community pharmacy programmes and services by providing clinical expertise to support pharmacy integration pilots and projects and to embed new clinical services to fully realise their potential.

This role is for a qualified pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

The post holder will support delivery of the commitments in the GP 5 year deal, the community pharmacy 5 year deal, the LTP and wider health initiatives, such as addressing health inequalities.

**With responsibility for**:

- Leadership of integration activities to promote community pharmacy’s role and the importance of pharmaceutical services in an ICS.
- Informing a transformation plan for community pharmacy with their ICS.
- Working in collaboration with PCN Clinical Directors, pharmacy teams and colleagues within NHS Trusts and other organisations (e.g. LPC, LPN, AHSN) to support the integration of clinical pathways with community pharmacy clinical services.
- Providing On Call cover on a rota basis across the Derbyshire region to be the named contact for business continuity in the event that an issue arises in the Derbyshire region which requires support and assistance from a senior member of staff in the ICB.

Derby and Derbyshire ICB offer a hybrid of working from home and office model. Some travel may be needed as part of the role but this is not likely to be a frequent requirement.

The ICB Medicines Management Team are a well established team with high credibility and an excellent delivery track record. Over the last few years we have nurtured and developed a system wide approach with our system colleagues, and particularly focused on the Integrated Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation strategic approach.

You will be joining a Team and System which is ahead of the curve on delivering the IMPO strategy and enjoys a genuine collaborative approach.
