We are looking for a part time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Blenheim Drive pharmacy, in Derby.

The hours of this position will be Tuesdays, 7.5 hours per week. For the right person, more hours can be offered in local pharmacies, however, this is not essential.

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
- Ideally be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services but can provide relevant training, where required
- Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
- Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

We are looking for a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, highly organised and be passionate about helping people.

There will be the opportunity to take part in our excellent training and development programme, so that you are confident in providing expert advice on our medicines, professional services and general healthcare.

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
