Job Introduction
The post holder will help lead the adult education team with all aspects on compliance in line with the requirements of the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules and Ofsted common inspection framework. Responsible for ensuring all required audit returns are complete in a timely manner ensuring the safeguarding of our continued adult education funding.

You will have the opportunity to influence strategic direction of our curriculum offer through identifying new funding opportunities whilst making sure that we are achieving value for money for our residents.

Our curriculum offer includes ESOL, English, Maths and programmes to support our local residents back into work. We currently work with around 500 to 600 learners over the academic year.

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Package Description
Brighton and Hove City Council are looking to appoint a compliance lead to support a new Adult Education Hub in the heart of the City.

This is a great opportunity to work in new team in a growing service that can really make a positive difference to the lives of our adult residents through adult education.

Whilst you will be based at our Adult Education Hub in central Brighton we will be offering some flexibility to work from home
