**Infrastructure Support Engineer**

We are partnered with a forward-thinking company who are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their vibrant and friendly team to lead their helpdesk and develop and maintain their infrastructure. **Location**: Didcot, Oxfordshire

**Salary**: £40,000 + excellent benefits and bonus

**Contract**: Permanent

**Agile / Hybrid**:

- 3 days in office pw

**What would you be doing as an Infrastructure Support Engineer**:

- Lead the 3rd Line Helpdesk support and act as an escalation point for members of the helpdesk team
- Plan and implement projects to provide improvements to the IT systems within a team environment
- Troubleshoot and, where possible, fix infrastructure and mobile device problems
- Providing technical support for desktop, server and network issues
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade the IT services, including anti-virus, backups, imaging and patching

**What you would need to be a successful Infrastructure Support Engineer**:

- Excellent knowledge with Microsoft 365, VMWare vSphere and Horizon, and Azure Active Directory
- Experience working with Windows Server, Slack, and Group Policy is advantageous but not essential
- A confident, people-person who will be a positive addition to the team environment
- Ability to implement testing environment and create testing plans before live roll out
- Knowledge and experience of data protection policies and practice
