**Title**:E-Commerce Trading Assistant
**Hours**:Monday - Friday - 09:00am-18:00pm
**Location**: Leeds (LS1)
**Salary**: £25,000 + 10% On Target Earnings

**Overview**:
Our client based in the heart of Leeds are looking to bring on an E-commerce Trading Assistant to their growing team. As an E-commerce Assistant, you will be helping to drive forward online sales and ensuring that the customer’s online experience exceedscompetitors and drives sales at a fast pace. With the existing commercial understanding you’ll help to identify and input ways to grow sales through onsite activity, whilst keeping the online shop up to date.

**Duties & Responsibilities of the E-commerce Assistant**:

- Upkeep the maintenance of the website and product pages, ensuring product pictures and descriptions are up to date.
- Work with daily website check sheets and coordinate and fix any issues.
- Add new products onto the website, including product category, features, price, and images.
- Liaise with and maintain a close working relationship with the key stakeholders across Merchandising, Creative, Buying, Customer Service and Operations.
- Work alongside Buying & Operations completing product attribute sheets accurately.
- Work in correspondence with the customer service team to respond to any website issues in a timely manner.
- Visual merchandise allocated categories ensuring direction and guidelines set up by Digital Visual Merchandising are met.
- Assist in writing SEO product descriptions.
- Support with the launch of seasonal Sales and other promotions.
- Assist with user acceptance testing on all new functionality and report all issues, bugs and feature enhancements as required.
- Work closely with the E-commerce team on all admin-related tasks.
- Feed into weekly / monthly reporting, present trading analysis on weekly meetings.

**Requirements of the E-commerce Assistant**:

- Must have a keen interest in e-commerce and wanting to build a career within e-commerce
- Prior experience in retail e-commerce required.
- Must be familiar with Shopify.
- Well organised with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, team working skills.
- Careful attention to detail and quality.
- Skilled in written English and numerical ability.
- A good standard of computer literacy including the use of all Microsoft Office programs.
- MUST be able to use basic formula in excel
- Basic experience in image manipulation software is desirable
