We are looking for a creative individual to work in our Volunteer Services team as a recruitment coordinator. You will report into the Head of Volunteer Services, which is based within the Income Generation team.

You will be responsible for recruiting volunteers. Dougie Mac has over 700 Dougie Mac volunteers who are integral at supporting the running of the Hospice and they all make a big difference to the families we support across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

Working collaboratively with teams across the hospice and our 23 retail sites, you will have a passion for supporting people and an eye for detail. Your role will involve working in an office environment and in person across the shops through visits.

Your IT skills will enable you to update and maintain our database system and your excellent communication skills will enable you to efficiently deal with volunteer and agency enquiries - both face to face and over the telephone. A valid Driving Licence is essential for this role.

The normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some weekend work (with prior notice).

As part of our interview process we would look at a presentation being required;
Please prepare a short brief (to last approximately 10 minutes) on how you would plan and implement to recruit 20 volunteers for our newest shop - Cheadle Home. Ensure to include the methods you would use and how you would evaluate the campaign.
