_Our client is now looking for an Executive Assistant to join their team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire_

Their main office is located in Oxford, but they are committed to flexible working and can offer home-working or hybrid working, as well as flexibility on hours. There may be a limited need for occasional travel within the UK.

The Executive Assistant will provide essential support for the EGM Finance of University Partnerships Europe.

The Executive Assistant will support with day to day general administration but will also have a passion for their business and will contribute more widely by taking on projects or pieces of work that will help them and their business, and also enabling personal development for the individual.

The role will also support some divisional processes such as Travel approvals, and provide support to the EA to the CEO.

**Executive Assistant Duties**:
Support the EGM Finance, including:

- Diary management
- Meeting organisation and planning, including coordination with CEO EA and other EAs within Navitas
- Inbox management - including response on behalf where appropriate
- Ensure the relevant person is prepared for meetings with relevant papers etc, attend and take minutes where appropriate and ensure follow up actions are completed in line with committed timelines
- Organise travel arrangements as required
- Support induction/introduction timetables for new starters in the team
- Monthly expense management/reconciliation
- Raise purchase orders and supplier management/onboarding
- Liaise with colleagues, agents, partners, contractors and visitors as appropriate
- Support specific projects as requested
- Provide cover for CEO EA absence as required
- Some UK travel may be required from time to time to support key meetings or events.
- Solve all problems great and small

**Executive Assistant Requirements**:

- A trusted advisor able to handle confidential information sensitively and deal with challenging situations in a confident and diplomatic manner.
- Proactive and problem-solving approach with good decision-making skills
- Comfortable making effective and timely decisions in relation to practical requirements
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent people skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at a senior executive level with internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable to use various IT packages as needed - and to learn new things by playing around in new software.
- Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as needed
- Previous experience of working within a similar role, including understanding of and ability to support booking extensive, and possibly complex, international travel
- A team player, who is comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively working on multiple projects and coping with changing priorities
- Assertive when needed, always proactive and trustworthy, driven to complete tasks on a tight schedule.
