Reporting to Head of Technology

The development of projects within uCheck represents an exciting new opportunity to make a significant difference in the background checking and rostering sectors by aiming to provide comprehensive and affordable systems. Building on existing systems and from the ground up to provide more customer solutions and integrations.

As the product owner you will help to manage, change, and plan for the future in line with organisational objectives.
Working as part of the SCRUM team, you will play a significant role in ensuring the delivery of tasks in line with their requirements. You will need to understand the current organisational situation, identify future needs, and formulate solutions to meet those needs.

As a uCheck Product Owner, you will
- Communicate with internal colleagues and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
- Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate their thoughts and requirements regarding the technology
- Create suggestions for operational and technical improvements aligned to feedback and information
- Draw up comprehensive backlogs to be used by the development team whilst also considering all potential risks associated with a suggestion or project
- Gain agreement from senior management for the best method of introducing the recommendations to the wider business - addressing any uncertainty or concern
- Report and present any analytical findings to stakeholders and senior management when necessary
- Support the project team in developing recommended changes, including resolving issues
- Ensure sufficient evaluation is conducted after releasing a project and report back to key stakeholders on whether the desired results have been achieved
- Conduct all project work in line with SCRUM project management methodology

You will need at least 6 months experience working as a Product Owner in a Scrum team for a likeminded technology company.

Experience in these areas would be beneficial. Interpretation and conversion of stakeholder needs to technical solutions.
Building and maintaining internal / external relationships, working as part of a project team. SCRUM certification.

**Salary**: £43,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
