Imerys LTD are currently recruiting an Operative to join the gang, where teamwork is the name of the game. You’ll be working in a team forming a vital part of the successful and smooth running of our Heathfield site.

This role is offered on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm

The role

This is a busy site and one of the most successful in the business, where you’ll be on the go, from start to finish. Accuracy is key as is time management, but don’t worry, you’re in good hands with a team that will support you and show you the ropes.

Your main duties cover elements of logistics/packing & loading and running the process lines, the more common activities include, but are not limited to:
- Loading product onto lorries and containers- Operation of Shredding and Blending Equipment- Housekeeping in the work area- Ensuring quality & safety standards are met- Liaising with the Bagging & Shredding Chargehands- Maintaining the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you

Who we are looking for:
Any experience working in a similar industrial setting would be advantageous, along with:
- High level of health, safety and environmental knowledge.- Flexible approach to work, be a real team player and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Good problem solving and initiative skills.- Front End Loading Shovel Experience/ License (required)- Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills to meet the requirements of the role.- Demonstrate a willingness to undertake further training.- Successfully complete a medical to D4 Standard- Have a full driving license
