Care is Central is currently looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Care Support Worker to work in our independent Living Scheme All Saints View in Houghton Regis Dunstable.

**Job Role**:
As a senior care support worker, your role is to provide exceptional care to the scheme’s residents as well as support the team leader in carrying out their duties. Responsibilities may include:

- Supervising and supporting staff
- Creating & reviewing care plans
- Carrying out audits, spot checks and stock checks
- Cover on the floor as required with care calls to the residents.
- Provide on call support (supplementary payment)
- Provide care to residents in a compassionate and respectful way
- Support the team leader as required.

You will be located primarily in All Saints in Dunstable although you may be expected to sometimes travel and work at other scheme locations in Central Bedfordshire, as necessary.

**Requirements**:
A minimum of 1 year's experience working in care is required. As well as the ability to laugh, work well in a team and have genuine empathy towards people, you will need:

- 1 year's experience working in care
- To be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a good level of English

Full training will be provided, and you will be mentored for two weeks to ensure you are confident in your role.

You will be located at All Saints View in Houghton Regis Dunstable, although you will be expected to sometimes travel and work at other scheme locations in Central Bedfordshire as necessary.
