GTS International are working with one of our multi-billion pound customers within the access control industry to secure them the services of a document controller on an OUTSIDE IR35 contract opportunity that runs until the end of the year
Interviews are happening asap to start this contract Document Controller on the ideally by w/c 1st August
**The Document controller will generally...**:
- Work as a key part of the team to help to achieve the project goals and meet the project timelines.
- Proactively support the Project Manager with all administrative tasks.
- Liaise daily with Site Supervisors and Coordinators (2 to 3 no.) and ensure that paperwork is received and information recorded in a timely manner.
- Set up and manage all site documentation systems as required. NB: Requirements will vary through each stage of the project. Details of requirements for each stage are yet to be agreed with the client.
- Provide a point of contact between the site and our customer's head office.
**H&S**:
- Ensure all H&S-related paperwork is correctly filled out by all the site staff and recorded properly. This includes RAMS, daily start checks, COSHH information, etc as required.
- Book new staff in for site inductions as required.
**Goods Received**:
- In conjunction with HO ensure all deliveries to site are scheduled and booked in correctly with the GC.
- It will be the PM and Coordinator's role to physically receive goods but the Administrator will be responsible for collating and recording this information and liaising with our customer's head office
**Quality**:
Again, as noted above, this will vary depending on the stage of the project but will include:
- Updating the Client system as necessary. Training will be provided by the Client.
- Updating customer's systems as necessary via SharePoint/Microsoft Teams. Training will be provided.
- Issue drawings to staff in a controlled manner. Maintain security of drawing issue at all times.
- Maintaining quality records of materials, first fix inspections, cable test certificates, second fix installation status and assist with collating commissioning records.
- Liaising with the PM ensuring that the Programming Sheet is updated daily and an accurate record of progress against the programme is maintained.
- Assist the PM in maintaining and recording information relating to Contract Change Management, e.g. Early Warning Notices, Variation Orders, etc
