**Customer Specialist - Hydrogen Village**

**About the role**
As a Customer Specialist you will be promoting Hydrogen and the benefits it has on the UK meeting its Net Zero targets. In this role you will be expected to manage and maintain strong and lasting relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders; Including Highways and Local Authorities, Local Businesses, Customers and Communities. As a Customer Specialist, you will work alongside the Hydrogen Village Team and wider Future of Gas team to understand the forward-looking programme of works, assessing the impacts to and develop engagement strategies for the impacted groups.
You will also be leading on the delivery of the agreed engagement strategies; ensuring that prior to commencement of the programme, customers and stakeholders are fully notified and clear on the works due to commence.
**Key Accountabilities**
In this role you will be ensuring the Hydrogen Village Team are providing a great customer experience throughout all stages of the programme and are energised by the net zero decarbonisation challenge.
You will be working collaboratively with Hydrogen Stakeholder Specialist to ensure the Hydrogen Experience Centre is a centre for excellence providing an excellent experience and ensuring the community is excited about our hydrogen future. Whilst doing this you will be building value adding relationships with key stakeholders such as domestic and commercial customers, Highways Authorities, Local Authorities and Community Groups. Holding these value adding relationships will help support the Customer Experience Team with analysis of customer insights.
Additionally you will be managing the performance of the team, identify opportunities for your own and your team’s development. Ensure you promote effective team working and competence development ensuring CLOs are the face of our community.
**About You**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and work collaboratively, engaging and developing value-adding relationships with a wide range of audiences at all levels (internal and external)
- A track record of delivering high quality outputs on time against demanding timescales
- Excellent team working skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Demonstrate a high level of customer focus
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple projects to challenging timescales
- Able to drive commercial value through analysis and sound decision making
- Good overall understanding of Cadent, appropriate legislative requirements, company policies, procedures and the regulatory framework
