**Salary**: £45,326+ (Commensurate with skills and experience)

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Liaising with our national and international customers to understand their operations and how they will use our future products and services.
- Working with the wider Future Combat Air System team, national and international partners to define studies to quantify relevant measures of effectiveness.
- Lead development teams devising methods and tools used in the conduct these studies
- Leading the analysis of study output and presenting the results to inform the development and design of our products and services
- Plan, execute and report on studies.

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Experience in Operational analysis / Statistical analysis research
- The ability to manage a small team on method development and/or study execution.
- An ability to plan and implement method development and/or analytical studies in support of effectiveness assessments.
- An ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to Senior internal and external stakeholders

**The Operational Analysis Team**:
An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available within Operational Analysis team for a Task Leader.

Within this role you will be conducting capability and effectiveness analyses in support of international aerospace research & technology, concept definition, product development and marketing as part of a multi-disciplinary STEM team. You will be working at the front end of the engineering lifecycle, influencing future defence products and services.
