We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator in the Belfast Area.

This position is suitable for someone who has a desire to develop a career in Transport Management. There will be opportunity to learn on the job and attend transport related training courses. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role.

**Fleet Maintenance Admin.**:

- Maintain the vehicle maintenance schedule on a digital Fleet Maintenance System.
- Ordering and stock control of parts, diesel and sundry items from third party suppliers.
- Creation of purchase requests for the Transport Manger.
- Report any vehicle defects and accident damage to the Transport Manager.
- Carry out and record pre use walk around vehicle checks.
- Reports for Transport Manager with regards to garage activities and key performance indicators.
- Provide support in managing the vehicle handhelds.
- Code invoices for the Transport Manger to approve.

**Distribution Safety Admin.**:

- Report any deport defects to depot management.
- Complete safety and operational checks and audits.
- Partake in safety meetings, tool box talks as required.
- Perform basic depot checks and housekeeping duties.
- Manage the day to day issue and recording of all driver PPE.
- Report accidents or incidents to the Transport Manager as soon as they occur.
- Provide assistance during emergency situations either at the depot or at a customer’s site.

**Distribution Admin.**:

- Prepare telematics reports for Transport Manager.
- Provide admin support for the Transport Manager including document scanning and filing.
- Use customer, telematics, tachograph, maintenance and safety software packages.
- Maintain all records digitally with regards to training and maintenance for compliance.
- Produce weekly driver hours reports and send to pay role and driver agencies.
- Produce all licences for inspection when requested.
- Take on new tasks and undertake training in new processes and equipment in line with continuous development.
- Work to a flexible schedule with rota based emergency cover.

**Required skills**:

- GCSE Maths and English.
- Transport related qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Building and maintaining schedules of work activity.
- Health and Safety, awareness.
- Flexible, positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional manner in all communications and contact with colleagues, Calor Employees, customers and general public.
- Reliable, punctual and hard working.
- Willingness to embrace change and new technologies.
- Customer focused with a proven track record in dealing and interacting with people in a positive and professional manner is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience of using and getting the best out of computer software packages
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Own car and suitable licence.

**Desired skills**
**Experience Advantageous in the following**:

- LPG industry knowledge.
- Tachograph knowledge and tachograph software packages.
- Experience in digital logistics - using hand held devices.
- Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
- Health and Safety qualification.

**Hours and Pay Rate**:

- 20,000 - 23, 000per year depending on experience
- 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm
