Techniche Global are working with an engineering technology company to appoint a Regional Sales Account Manager.
The role will be covering their West Midlands region. The company operates in the Engineering Technology space and provide services to Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing companies. Essentially repairing and maintaining the equipment and technology thatmanufacturers use to produce their products in factory's and distribution centres.
The role is home based and self-managed, covering approx. 100 existing accounts across the region. The base salary is circa £30k (flexible) with annual bonus based on targets of £10k taking the OTE to £40k. The bonus is uncapped, so anything over 100% of targetwill increase the OTE. The position also comes with a company vehicle, pension and various other corporate benefits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing new clients and introducing the service provision. Ensuring that any initial contact is followed up as soon as possible. Development of existing customer relationships is also vital. The ratio or business development and new business will dependon the area. For this area it is probably 80% existing business and 20% developing new business.
- Account Management of existing Gold and Silver clients, maintaining and growing business within this client base. As a service provider being reactive to client queries and executing solutions in a quick manner.
- You will need to ensure that the customers know about, and use, the full range of services offered. As well as make sure that all customers receive a timely service and are happy with the work carried out.
- An Area Sales Manager will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets consistently and plan and manage a geographical area of the UK to make sure the potential of the area is reached month after month.
- Assist with after sales queries, investigate customer complaints, and ensure that they are dealt with to the customers' satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Confident, Self Motivated, Driven, with the ability to work independently.
- High levels of energy and physically fit.
- An individual who has experience of working with the industrial service sector would be preferable.
- At least 5 years field sales experience.
- You will be target driven and have the ability to organise yourself, and your customer base, planning regular customer visits to ensure they hit their targets.
- Attention to detail is important. The ability to work alone and work under pressure is also essential.
- Reacting to customer issues is key to maintaining existing business.
- Goal focused, personally and professionally.
