London, United Kingdom The Other House - HR Full time

**BE A PART OF LONDON'S MOST EXCITING NEW HOSPITALITY BRAND**

The Other House is a new lifestyle brand of Residents Clubs redefining the hospitality market. Effortlessly combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel services, residents can stay for a day or a year - think hotel meets private members club. It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.

The Other House is for people going places and who know where they want to be - and that applies to our team too. Our OtherHouseMates are independent and discerning, with interests of their own and a desire to make a difference.

We are looking for an HR and Payroll Co-Ordinator to work alongside our Director of People. Someone who is happy to get stuck into the demands of the department whilst collaborating with others to create a world class team experience. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a new brand from its inception.

Your organisational skills must be exceptional and you will have excellent written and verbal English. An ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. An ability to communicate with empathy at all levels, you’ll be a team player and cheerleader for our team.

Previous experience in an admin and payroll role is desirable and experience working with an integrated HRIS is important.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the Human Resources discipline and to feel a sense of true ownership within a group of likeminded and passionate individuals.

As an HR and Payroll Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for:

- All aspects of maintaining and updating Human Resources systems (Harri /Flow/Leapsome) and content, producing required reports and overseeing compliance of team useage.
- Completing HRIS Systems training for departmental managers and support to teams to promote ease of use
- Being familiar with UK employment law and providing support to the Director of People with administration of HR communications
- Preparing and updating HR documents and communication (onboarding paperwork, ER notetaking and letters, policies and procedures, job descriptions and adverts)
- The administration of Apprenticeship program and other external organisations supplying trainees
- Right To Work checks and audits
- Issuing and completing reference checks
- Issuing and reviewing/collating onboarding documents
- Preparing of monthly results, reports and audits
- Assisting in preparing and overseeing Engagement Surveys
- Preparing and issuing monthly and annual rewards and recognition in line with our team benefits programme.
- Organising OtherHouseMates social events and monthly/periodic benefits and rewards
- Organising internal and external training and recruitment events
- Creating a periodic team Newsletter
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with HouseMates across our properties
- Assisting the finance department in processing payroll by processing and auditing relevant employee information

The HR and Payroll Co-Ordinator that will successfully fill this role, will have:

- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Previous experience with Accounts/Finance/HR
- Some experience of HR Administration and an interest in developing a career within HR
- Experience in the hospitality, leisure or tourism industry
- Flexible and adaptable
- Be proactive, and be self-motivated
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and a real team player
