Our client are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and we currently have an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional property company, who are seeking a confident Office Administrator to hit the ground running

**About the role**:
**JOB TITLE**:Office Administrator**
JOB TYPE**:Full Time, Perm**
HOURS**:09.30am - 17:30pm**
SALARY**:£31,000 - £34,000**
LOCATION**:Central London

**DUTIES**:

- General day to day running of the office, various ad hoc duties
- Answering phones, re-directing calls and taking messages
- Organising diaries of directors and other staff and booking appointments
- Keeping an eye on work in progress and chasing staff
- Keeping a record of staff's holidays and sick days on a spreadsheet, diary & wall planner
- Raising invoices and recording them on QuickBooks
- Dealing with IT issues & liaising with IT
- Sorting out purchase invoice payments & cheques
- Sorting incoming and outgoing post
- Ordering stationary, water & other items for the office & buying general kitchen office supplies (milk, tea etc.)
- Managing petty cash
- Setting up physical and electronic folders, putting information onto the online database
- Collating information about the property for the file - EPC certificates, Business rates assessments off Government websites
- Keeping the client (bank / lender/ private individual) informed of the progress, if there are delays etc.; keeping an eye on turnaround times
- Providing quotes to clients for valuations after consultation with Surveyors
- Liaising with residential department
- Sending rating terms of engagement to clients via DocuSign

**Experience, knowledge and skills required**
- Previous experience working within administration
- Experienced in working in a office environment
- Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Have ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Keen to learn and gain new skills and abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- High standards of attention to detail
