An wonderful opportunity has arisen within Cardiology Outpatients of the Cardiothoracic Centre for a Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator.

Your role will be a supporting role, working closely with the newly appointed cardiology support role, leading on the co-ordination for rotas and outpatient clinic templates and room allocation.

You will work alongside the Operational Cardiology management team in providing effective and efficient clerical support to the Cardiology service across the MSE.

You will support the CTC Outpatient Manager to deliver a comprehensive reception and clerical support service to the Cardiothoracic Division incorporating both the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre and the DGH Cardiac Department.

Acting as supervisor to the divisional pool of Patient Pathway Assistants (PPA) including participating in attendance and performance management processes and actively participate in the duty rotation of the Patient Pathway Assistant pool.
