Zigi’s Fireplaces and Woodburners are a family run business established in 1982 that specialise in the design, supply and installation of fireplaces, electric fires, gas fires and solid fuel stoves.

We are a growing company in a growing industry and we are now looking for a new showroom sales assistant to join our Cambridge sales team. The position offers excellent progression opportunities, the opportunity to learn office management skills, and gain knowledge in all areas of the business. In this role you will be part of a successful and motivated team, working in a dynamic environment.

You will be required to work every Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Main duties include
- Greet customers in the showroom and assist with initial queries.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, providing advice and guidance to customers.
- Processing orders and liaising with suppliers.
- Liaise with customers to organise delivery and installation dates, quotations, servicing, and other general appointments
- Promoting products and maximising sales.
- Unpacking and sorting deliveries, this will include some manual handling and lifting.
- Monitor the showroom, to make sure that shelves and displays are organised.
- Other general duties as required.

Essential Skills
- Previous experience working within a sales environment would be ideal however training will be provided.
- A willingness to learn and understand the fireplace industry and products to best serve customers.
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail
- Some heaving lifting required.

Additional information
- Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8am - 5pm
- Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- Christmas shutdown period, usually between 7-10 working days.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 27 per week

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
