Arriva Road Transport Services (ARTS) which is part of Arriva UK Trains and oversees and manages all aspects of coaches, buses, taxis and coordinators which are provided for rail replacement, special events, school support and train crew support across the portfolio of customers within ARTS in both a pre-planned and on an emergency basis.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Community Engagement Coordinator in which you will achieve your Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Level 4 qualification. A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship including the end point assessment.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a broad and collaborative team across our network, giving you the chance to widen your skillset and excel in your field. The apprenticeship along with on-the-job learning will give you varied knowledge of corporate responsibility and social value. Once you complete the course you can use your knowledge learnt to become a fully skilled professional with transferable skills in a much sought after sector.

**Responsibilities**:
The main purpose is to support the delivery of our fast-growing social value project, whilst gaining valuable training and development in this field.

The social value commitments are wide ranging but duties will include but not limited to:
- Effective diary and inbox management- Acting as a business contact by actively engaging with External community organisations (charities, schools etc.)- Manage general internal and external volunteer enquires and the inbox in collaboration with the Community Engagement Manager.Design, deliver, review and continually improve a programme of interesting and varied social value activities in community settings, for people to connect with, enjoy and grow in confidence.- Be creative, making activities a great, enriching, relevant experience for all those involved. Activities could be an hour, half a day or one off.- Visiting local schools to provide or support with interactive presentations, demonstrations and general interaction on a variety of topics.- Hosting CV clinics to help those that are currently unemployed into work with ARTS.- Developing a relationship between local employers and ARTS, to ensure that ARTS provides the communities that it serves with opportunities for jobs and wider opportunities within the Arriva Group- To support with administration on a programme of delivery of a variety of topics related directly to the social value project.

Qualifications:
- You will have a keen interest in Social Value and Corporate Social Responsibility.- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths & English (Grade at grade 4 (C) - 9 (A)You may need to complete level 2 Maths and English Functional Skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades).- Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer Engagement, Impartial, Open, Administrative skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.- Be able to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences which will include internal and external stakeholders and enjoy meeting new people.- Able to travel around a demographic area with some overnight stays.- Full clean driving licence is desirable although not essential.
