**Purpose of the role**:
We are looking for someone to design, launch and grow a Volunteering Programme across our three stores to increase the number of volunteering opportunities, strengthen our links with the local community and equip more people with transferrable skills and experience.

Your role will be to recruit, train and coordinate volunteers at CFS. You will be responsible for managing a volunteer database, reporting on volunteer engagement and communicating with volunteers. Working in partnership with local organisations to understand the needs of our communities, you will design the volunteer journey from beginning to end to ensure it’s a meaningful and valuable experience for volunteers and for CFS.

CFS works closely with the voluntary and community sector across North Yorkshire. This post is part-funded by Up for Yorkshire and the postholder will work closely with the CFS CEO and Up for Yorkshire team to ensure the outputs and learning from this role are transferable, to inform and enhance the volunteering experience across the sector, with a particular focus on the Selby region. This is an exciting new programme of activity that can have a lasting legacy for organisations and our communities.

- Flexible working hours to fit around childcare or other commitments
- Scope for some homeworking on agreement
- Starting 28 days paid holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles)
- No bank holiday or Sunday working
