Warehouse Administrator

Pets Choice is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team in Blackburn, Whitebirk Industrial Estate.
The role will be based in our Warehouse working alongside the Warehouse Administration Team and Warehouse Workers.
**Hours are Monday to Friday: 10am - 6:45pm**
Duties include:
- Responsible for inventory in the warehouse to ensure physical and virtual counts correspond with each other. Any anomalies to be investigated proactively and rectified. First port of call for drivers entering the site.
- Transferring and receipting stock to and from all sites, liaising with members of staff and other departments across the business.
- Assist with daily stock control duties.
- Deal with queries from internal or external personnel.
- Identify and develop process improvements.
- Leading staff to focus on and improve on Safety, Quality and Productivity, ensuring a high standards at all times.
- Deliver training to staff members.
- Ensure all loads received or sent out are correct, matching the customer’s order and safe to be handled at it’s next stage.
- Carry out empty bin checks and stock checks where required.
- Proactive quality checks on orders in process.
- Complete reports where necessary.
- Deputise for the Office Supervisor where needed.
- Ensure damages, infestations and returns are swiftly dealt with and investigated as to the cause.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched in the relevant time frame.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Ensure a strong morale across the staff, identify any issues, resolve where possible and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure business conversations are not shared with team members who are not privy to that information.
- Report any safety incident promptly following the correct procedure.
- Manual handling up to 20kg.

- Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent basis
- Must be fluent in English, speaking, reading and writing
