We are currently looking to recruit a Logistics & Customer Services Coordinator to join our award-winning business in Birkenhead.
This is an office-based role where you will use your skills and experience to process sales orders, arrange transport, complete shipping and export documentation. Initially for UK and European customers, the role will then develop with you supporting new customers in Africa, Middle East, and Asia, working closely with internal and external suppliers.
**This role would suit at career entry level or someone looking to make a career change with good communication skills and a good eye for detail. **The work itself is vital and brings with it the opportunity to succeed and to progress with a great organisation which leads the market in its field.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Processing of UK, European & Export Orders, and support of those customers throughout the sales process.
- Preparation of documentation, bill of lading and commercial invoices
- Keep customers up to date on their orders or delays
- Liaison with Operations & Despatch Teams
- To arrange collection and shipment of orders
- The processing of proforma invoices and Letters of credit transactions
**Skills & Experience required includes**:
- Strong IT, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience of Sage 200 or another CRM system is beneficial
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
