An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Rota Administrator to join our Surgical Rota Team.

This is a permanent contract for a full-time post. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00.

Experience of rota/scheduling management, working in an administrative/office environment, strong IT/computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are essential to this role. The post will involve accurate leave processing and rota administration to ensure operational efficiency across the Business Group in support of the Trust targets and effective forward planning.

The Rota Administrator will be responsible for providing rota co-ordination and administration to support the Business Group including:

- Co-ordination of the weekly surgical rota(s) and forward planning of rota(s), leave entitlement/attendance.
- Act as the main contact point for rota-related issues and enquires, using initiative to deal with these enquiries.
- Ensure Annual Leave is completed in a timely manner; Rotas are prepped 6 weeks in advance, dealing with any rota issues/sickness that occur during the week.
- Ensure Rota Team admin and inductions are completed.
- Sourcing Locum cover when needed.
