You will partner with internal colleagues - including analysts, other consultants and technical experts - and clients to design and implement compensation-related and broader HR solutions.

**The Role**

Typical work might include:

- Job architecture and job levelling (utilising our propriety methodology), providing the foundations for reward and career path opportunities
- Creating appropriate and effective performance management systems
- Providing clients with market benchmarking on a number of pay elements including base pay, benefits, short and long-term incentive plans and total reward, using a variety of sources such as survey data and published reports
- Working with companies to understand and qualify their compensation strategy using data analytics, research and trends
- Conducting reviews of pay programmes to ensure they are competitive and support drivers of attraction, retention, engagement and pay equity / transparency
- Developing pay philosophy, salary structure design, pay ranges and pay-for-performance analysis
- Designing, modelling and implementing high-impact sales incentive programmes, clarifying sales processes, roles and sales organisational design
- Designing and drafting accountabilities across client roles and grades
- Reviewing an organisation’s approach to managing knowledge and skills
- Designing and implementing career architecture, developing job families and disciplines
- Helping organisations to develop core, leadership and functional competencies and link into their HR practices

As an Associate Director you will be managing projects with clients in all these areas and across all industries. You’ll typically be working on multiple projects at once so be prepared never to be bored You will:

- Deliver superior, consistent project management for multiple clients, serving as the day-to-day project lead and ensuring progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
- Collaborate and contribute to the development, design and implementation of effective reward solutions
- Establish collaborative relationships with clients to understand their business and issues to better inform our consulting and to expand WTW’s relationship into new service areas
- Leverage and manage the work of junior staff, providing coaching and on-going feedback
- Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team by assisting with new business development activities, including proposal development and delivery, and recognising opportunities to expand business and partner with appropriate colleagues to do so
- Participate in and contribute to activities that support continued revenue growth of the Rewards line of business and WTW overall. This may include supporting local, regional and/or national marketing events, performing industry/topical research and developing intellectual capital, participating in our firm’s industry and/or other topical teams and so on

You will work alongside some of the industry’s top consultants on cross-industry client projects, including many household names: FTSE 100 and 250 clients, privately-held companies and public service organisations.

**The Requirements**
- Design-orientated HR experience, ideally in consulting or highly consultative corporate environments
- Significant knowledge and understanding of HR programmes and processes (especially job levelling, job architecture, rewards and other talent-related processes)
- Proven experience successfully managing multiple, multi-faceted projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
- Exceptional client relationship management skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and clear, concise and confident written and verbal communication skills
