**Location - Whitby, North Yorkshire**

**Reporting to - **Reception & Spa Manager

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Welcomes guests & checks them in following standard procedures
- Completes reservations, including inputting reservations, checking all correspondence, and adding notes to bookings
- Answer’s phone and assist where possible
- Checks guests out including settling bills by cash, credit card or company account
- Ensuring stock levels on front desk
- Displaying banquet event orders ready for the next event and the next shift on duty

**Requirements**:

- Hospitality Experience, preferably on reception
- Administration experience
- Good local knowledge
- Be computer literate with use of room reservation systems - Guest Line would be ideal
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own on front desk

**Benefits - **You will start on a salary of £18,532, after a successful completion of 12 weeks this wage will rise to £19,760 and there is a further rise in salary after successful completion of further training and development which would see you wage rise to £21.840. As a member of the reception team, you would be eligible to a share of tips and gratuities, there are employee discounts including the Spa, a company pension, on site parking, friends and family discount and also a referral scheme for staff that you recommend to the business. There is also a great chance for progression with current reception team members progressing to senior roles
