Engineering and Construction Counsel

The leading provider of water infrastructure solutions for the South of England is seeking to hire into its legal team, a qualified solicitor who specialises in Engineering and Construction.
The organisation is going through radical change and many old waterways, water tunnels, river and sewage treatments are going through huge project changes. Consequently the legal team has been growing and there is a requirement for a dedicated engineeringand construction solicitor to be the main point of technical legal contact on all the various project and engineering legal issues across the South East of England. This is an outstanding role for such a lawyer to move in house and be the main lawyer responsiblefor the multiple new construction projects that are happening.
- You will have at least 6 years' PQE in engineering and construction law with specific experience in infrastructure or utilities projects
- You will be well versed with NEC 3 and NEC 4 documents as part of the suite of commercial arrangements affecting large scale infrastructure construction and engineering
- You should be able to work as part of a wider legal team, but also provide straight forward commercial and risk aware advice to the business.
This role will require at least 2 days a week in the office in West Sussex and whilst offers significant remote working opportunities, location should be considered.
