JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel (Construction)
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: West Midlands
THE ROLE: Due to business growth an opportunity has arisen for an additional Legal Counsel to join our clients legal team.As part of a small but strong legal team you will be at the very heart of the business advising on legal issues and reducing risk. Therole will include;
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the business on construction projects.
- Reviewing tenders (including framework agreements, main contract terms and collateral warranties).
- Assisting in negotiating and agreeing terms with the business’ supply chain, as well as advising on the early stages of disputes.
- Providing assistance to other members of the legal team outside the core areas of your responsibility.
- Assisting the other members of the legal team on wider strategic projects..
- Qualified Solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE
- Have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts involving both public and private sector parties
- Experience in advising on construction projects
