We seek a Test Engineer on behalf of a valued client based in Witham, Essex.
Salary dependent on experience : £28,000 to £35,000 per annum
**Duties will include**:

- Testing, repair, and fault finding of electrical and electro-mechanical systems, sub-assemblies, and PCBs.
- Excellent Problem-solving ability and fault finding down to component level.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis and take appropriate action.
- Participation in testing and acceptance tests as required.
- Completion and maintenance of test records in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System (AS9100).
- Ensure the correct and timely closure of jobs.
- Provide support to the Development Department as required.

**The person**:

- Educated to degree or college level in Electronic Engineering (C&G, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship, or similar), with a keen interest in electronics.
- Good organisation skills.
- Highly motivated.
- Effective communicator, able to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
- Team worker.
- Hard working with a proactive attitude towards their work.
- Ability to think outside of the box and problem solve.

**Benefits**:

- Salary dependent on experience : £28,000 to £35,000 per annum
- Core hours: 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
- 20 days’ holiday plus public holidays, rising one day per full year of service to a maximum of 25 days.
- Statutory pension with increased voluntary contributions available.
- On-site parking.
