Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience

Are you able to build an electrical control panel working from technical drawings and a collection of components? If so, a busy industrial electrical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Panel Builder / Wirer to build complex control panels. The company supply a variety of fully equipped control panels, relay panels, enclosures, replacement panel fronts, marshalling kiosks and equipment racks to the electricity supply & other various industries in the UK and overseas. If you are looking to start a career in this field or have panel wiring experience then we want to hear from you.

Duties
Working from engineering drawings

Mechanical fitting & wiring of varying panel sizes from 600cm to 3 meters

Wiring looms/cable harness and relays

Testing of panels

Experience
Previous experience of as a wirer would be ideal

Good wiring skills are preferable however some training can be given
Control panel or cable assembly experience an advantage

Experience of testing would be preferable

Must be able to lift heavy weights

Industrial background would be advantageous

Benefits
Hours of work: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday with 1/2 hour lunch and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday.
20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays
