As part of the UK Compliance team, our **Compliance Manager **will be responsible in supporting the providing 2nd line of defence compliance to the Data Protection & Compliance Officer through a comprehensive Regulatory & Operational framework.You will be supporting to help form and drive recommendations which focus on business improvement and enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency and risk controls of BFS UK.

**Your responsibilities as our Compliance Manager will include**:

- Supporting the Compliance Officer in the creation of a Regulatory Compliance and Operational Framework to support the monitoring of all compliance matters within BFS UK
- Updating the RO framework, keeping the business within FCA/ICO (and other relevant bodies) guidelines, making appropriate risk-based decisions, and identifying and reporting any issues to the UK BFS Compliance Officer and appropriate external bodies
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual risk-based compliance monitoring programme
- Partnering with Risk Assurance and other second-line colleagues to deliver an integrated effective assurance programme
- Preparing compliance reports for internal and external purposes
- Liaising with Financial Crime & Compliance Manager in respect of linked Client issues including Fraud. Deputising where required
- Supporting the creation of documented Key Process and Controls
- Supporting the DPO & Compliance Officer in working towards and maintaining ICO accountability framework and therefore regulatory responsibilities
- Overviewing and owning the Unusual Activity reporting tool and ensuring we meet our regulatory responsibilities
- Supporting the integration and compliance with an ESG framework
- Supporting the UK DPO in training & coaching the front line
- Leading a project to remediate BFSs AMLCFT client files

**What we are looking for in our ideal Compliance Manager**:

- In-depth knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations, Bribery Act requirements and other financial crime & Compliance matters
- Proven CDD (Client Due Diligence), EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) and PEP investigation expertise
- Good attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
- The ability to create and implement difficult or complex processes
- Commercial approach to compliance activities
- High levels of drive and self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Experience in Financial Services & Risk Management
- Experience in developing and delivering effective training relating to compliance matters, in particular relating to AMLCFT
