**Cotteswold Dairy** are looking for an experienced **Technical Assistant** **to join their team based in Tewkesbury**.** You will be working on a **part-time, permanent** **basis** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary plus benefits.**

**The Technical Assistant role**:
As our technical assistant, you will support the Technical Manager and work in collaboration with the Technical Team.

**Responsibilities as our Technical Assistant**:

- Assisting with the implementation, monitoring and development of quality control programmes;
- Helping to monitor the production department’s conformance with quality and food safety management procedures; ensuring legal compliance to HACCP principles and food fraud systems while maintaining a safe working environment;
- Understanding, developing, and assisting with audit quality management systems; managing, investigating and resolving nonconformity via root cause analysis.

**Essential**:

- Excellent attention to detail with clear focus on end results
- Strong communication skills; being able to foster and maintain excellent working relationships
- Positive attitude possessing high levels of commitment, motivation and flexibility
- The ability to work in an analytical and structured manner
- Innovative and forward looking, seeking ways to constantly improve

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of dairy industry
- Food Safety knowledge
- HACCP knowledge
