**IT Technical Consultant - Virtualisation, Microsoft, Cloud, Security**

**£55,000 - £60,000 pa base + Full package + Bonus**

**Birmingham City Centre, West Midlands**

Growing and Diversifying IT and Telecoms supplier with excellent established customer base requires experienced customer facing IT Technical Consultant / Project Manager to join an established department to consult with existing Telecoms and UC (UnifiedComms) customers to evolve their ICT strategies, delivery and on-going support due to increasing demand. They have a large number of accounts and in coming referrals which will be required to be processed into digital transformation projects.

**The Role**:
To work with the Managing Director to grow a complimentary division of a successful business

To further source product range, supply chain and back-office support structures for virtualised server architecture, azure, AWS, MS office, 365, data processing, storage, business continuity / disaster recovery and security

Host consultations with potential clients about their ICT strategy and support

Assisting clients to migrate to cloud based offerings (Azure Virtual Desktop experience very handy for this)

Work with the Account Managers to deliver profitable service contracts

**Required skills and experience**:
Project Management and consultancy skills gained from an IT Managed Services career background

Full proficiency in scoping, pricing, consulting on and delivering a portfolio of popular IT solutions including:
Managed Services Support Contracts

Physical and Virtualised Server Offerings

High end storage solutions

High end security appliances - Sophos ideal (or similar)
