Forsyth Barnes is partnering exclusively with a leading Consulting organisation on a confidential search for experienced Technical Consultants to join their growing delivery team.

This role is suited to hands-on technologists with a passion for ERP, integrations, and complex enterprise environments.

You'll work across SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, hybrid landscapes) and other ERP ecosystems such as Oracle, Salesforce, and Maximo, supporting large-scale transformation and integration programmes.

This is not a functional or business-facing role — we're seeking technical problem-solvers who can design, build, and deliver solutions at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver technical solutions across diverse ERP landscapes (SAP-centric with exposure to Oracle, Salesforce, and Maximo).
  • Design, configure, and support system integrations across hybrid and cloud-based environments.
  • Operate effectively across mixed-version SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, and partial upgrades).
  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and technically sound solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to accelerate delivery, stabilise challenged programmes, and embed technical best practices.
  • Contribute to internal methodologies, frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on ERP technical consulting experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) including configuration, integration, and development.
  • Experience with integration tools and platforms (PI/PO, CPI, BTP, APIs, IDocs, REST).
  • Understanding of custom development and extensions (ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData).
  • Broader ERP or SaaS platform exposure (Oracle, Salesforce, Maximo) highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work across complex, multi-version ERP environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivery and outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly in technical discussions.
