Contract / Outside IR35 / 6 months rolling
Sutton, Surrey - Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office**
E-Commerce Consultant needed for a leading organisation based in Sutton, Surrey, who are looking to employ an experienced E-Commerce Consultant to join on a 6 month rolling Outside IR35 contract.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced E-Commerce contractor very used to operating at Director of E-commerce or Head of E-commerce level to join a successful, established, growing business in Sutton.
As an E-Commerce Consultant you will have varied assignments, embracing web management and content, marketing, analytics, operations, and team leadership support, that requires close working relationships with teams all around the business, adopting a highly-collaborativeapproach to creating and ensuring a full, omnichannel experience, optimising the online customer journey and building brand engagement.
As an E-Commerce Consultant you will interface with the E-commerce Team, Senior Management Team, Sales/Distribution Team, Offline Marketing & Brand Team, Technology Team, Product Team(s) and Third party agency providers/ partners.
As an E-Commerce Consultant you will review, document and understand current e-commerce set up and business objectives. Based upon initial review recommend areas for improvement within Online Marketing / Technical Set Up and Processes.
As an E-Commerce Consultant you will report to the CEO and be directly responsible for all workflow management and direction associated with the strategic e-commerce plan, providing guidance and action.
As an E-commerce Consultant will you support the CEO with the direction and guidance of a team of 4-6 inputting on recommendations and actions for their progression and development to achieve successful execution of business strategies, and shape and growthof the team.
**E-Commerce Consultant Must Have Skills**:

- Vast and progressive experience working in similar e-commerce roles and level.
- Demonstrate a true understanding of and insight in to how to trade and grow e-commerce business with the right blend of innovation, customer focus, commercial acumen, and executional excellence.
- Able to communicate effectively, empathetically, and professionally at all levels and to engage multiple stakeholders internally and externally to ensure changes can be made and evolution achieved.
- Experience in digital marketing or digital content creation.
- Excellent understanding of and experience in delivery of strategies for PPC, ROAS, SEO, Advanced GA, and Tag Manager.
- Great knowledge and experience with analytical/CRO tools like Google Analytics, importantly Google Analytics 4, HotJar etc.
- Excellent understanding of UX, UI, e-commerce design and development.
- Technical understanding of API's, lead generation and platform systems.
- Experienced with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong project managing and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Take the lead and accountability on project execution and approvals.
- Excited to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Experienced in overseeing and developing talented individuals, empowering them to go above and beyond and excel in their roles
- Passion for producing digital experiences people love.
- Intellectual and emotional intelligence in balanced / equal measure.
- A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise action.
