**About the role**
Key features of the Scientist role will be inputting into a range of projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs within time and budget constraints.
You will be primarily desk-based, although site visits and client meetings may be required.
There are excellent opportunities for career progression and development.

About you*
You will have experience writing precise but accessible scientific reports.
**Required skills**:

- Typically, 1-2 years’ professional experience
- Experience in river, lake and/or coastal modelling packages
- Modelling experience as described above
- Model development skills
- Project management experience
- Tendering/proposal writing experience
**Desirable skills**:

- A relevant higher degree
- An understanding of key UK environmental legislation
- Experience of working with or in a commercial consulting environment
