I am currently recruiting a permanent Junior Credit Controller role for an events management company based in London.

**Client Details**

My client is an international events management and exhibitions company. As events have now become more accessible my client has begun to recover after and rebuild to their 2019 performance.

As a result they are looking to hire a Junior Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role will be based from home 3 days a week and the remaining 2 will be based in their London offices close to Paddington Station.

**Description**

**Junior Credit Controller, London**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Establish rapport & maintain good relationships with clients and internal departments
- Credit checking of prospective clients.
- Ensuring the timely receipt of invoices by the customers and or uploading customer's invoices on various procurement portals.
- Logging all collection notes on database.
- Answering customer queries related to invoices, providing statements, change of address, and termination of the contract.
- Completing vendor forms, tax residency certificates and other potential documentation needed.
- Maintain accounts within acceptable debt levels according to risk.
- Meet weekly with Credit Manager regarding cash collection target and potential escalation of queries
- Propose write off irrecoverable debt and escalation to external debt collection agency
- Liaising with the AR assistant regarding cash posting and payments. Passing over remittances, Proof of payment.
- Supporting the Credit Manager in pursuing departmental objectives
- Responsible to fulfil elements of other team members and processes when necessary (eg holiday cover).

**Profile**

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- 1-2 years' experience in a Credit Control role
- Preferably experience with a multi-currency or company environment
- Experience of working under pressure towards monthly targets and strict deadlines.
- Experience of dealing with allocated ledgers
- Ability to communicate with customers in writing, by telephone and sometimes face to face.
- Must be computer literate having a good knowledge of MS Office.
