**rTriibe** are working with our partner school to appoint a Peripatetic Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant to work Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.20pm with an earlier finish on Friday at 3.50pm on a 'temp to perm' basis in a High Peak school.

Our partner school, supports pupils who are at risk or have been excluded from mainstream education

Pupils who attend this school are often have challenging needs including behavioural, mental health, anxiety and SEN needs.

This role will include supporting KS3/KS4 pupils in their homes, having access to a vehicle will be essential for this role along with having business insurance for your vehicle and a mileage contribution of 45p per mile will be provided by the school and is paid monthly in arrears

This role could appeal to a learning support assistant from a secondary or FE background or a qualified teacher looking for a new challenge

- Motivate and support pupils to reach full potential
- Must have access to a vehicle and have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance
- Resilient
- Working in pupils homes, local amenities as well as on site
- Able to build strong working relationships
- Tutoring pupils 1:1 including Maths and English
- Contribute to the reporting of pupils progress
- Manage own caseload of pupils
- You will be provided with a phone and laptop
- Can start ASAP
- Tutoring or mentoring background
- Confident with Maths and English
- Confident with dealing with challenging behaviour
- Support/social worker experience
