Programme Support Officer needed in Manchester on a temporary basis. This role is paying £11.50 per hour.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support delegates and clients throughout their experience, offering excellent administrative services and assisting various other departments and meeting SLA objectives.
Job Background:
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Senior Programme Support Officer in the monitoring and tracking of mailbox volumes and other activities to ensure allocation of work across the team is manageable
- Assist the Senior Programme Support Officer and Senior Programme Manager with the setup and running of all Law programmes
- Coordinate and assist with the running of all daily tasks, including attendance and updating delegate records
- Update any associated delegate information documentation, system communications and ensure the website is up to date
- Working with the On-Line team to maintain the virtual learning environment content and set
- up and dealing with delegate queries
- Maintaining and updating Operations manuals to ensure that all programme information and processes are kept up to date
- Creating and maintaining accurate financial records for Law programmes and assist with related queries
- Assisting with the checking and coding of any associated supplier invoices
- Updating learner information in systems including Administrate, Banner and Salesforce
- Work to strict deadlines to producing accurate information for several teams including Exams, Tutors, Learning Support, Student Records, VLE Support
- Work to strict deadlines to ensure teams have required information regarding exams and training they are sitting
- Assisting internal teams with venue allocation and dealing with any presenter/venue queries
- Negotiating the most competitive rate with external venues. Arranging catering and equipment requirements
- Monitoring course capacity, identifying over/under-capacity courses and initiating appropriate action to gain maximum revenue
- Assist Programme Support Managers with course cancellations offering delegates an alternative solution
- Upskill the team and new team members to ensure adequate holiday cover and contingency processes are in place
- Work closely with the Head of Law Programmes to support the implementation of operational processes for new Law products and any changes to existing products
- Assist the Management Team with any tasks necessary to ensure the smooth running of the team
- Maintain high standards of work and professionalism at all times, particularly with regards to accuracy in both written and verbal communication
- Build, manage and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and communication and work in partnership with other team members
- Operate within data protection guidelines and ensure customer confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Assisting the wider operations team when required
- Effectively undertake any other duties as required.
Knowledge, experience and skills required for role:

- Significant commercial experience
- Well organised and self-disciplined, able to manage own workload and work on own initiative
- Experience of working in a very busy environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and evidence of prioritising work under such conditions
- Ability to work to very tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate level (minimum) of MS Office - Word / Excel / Access & Powerpoint
- Openness to new processes and willingness to change to meet business requirements
- Experience of Microsoft Outlook
- Experience within an educational or training environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to be proactive and input ideas to improve procedures and processes
- Ideally experience of using databases and programmes such as Banner or Salesforce
- Experience of working with data, data processing and data management
