**This is the job** A Senior Finance Business Partner to lead a team of 2 direct reports in providing Business Partnering to the Chief Operating Office Senior Leadership team.

Within in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the Chief Operating Office Senior Leadership team providing financial analysis, business partnering on several significant Capital projects, monthly forecasting and 5 year rolling business plans.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Provide a true Business Partner framework for all Head Office Business Units within The AA (including COO, Finance, HR, Exec/PLC, Legal, Risk & Compliance) ensuring that the business owners are always supported with the right insight and information. Thisrole is a sounding board, counsel, and confidant for the Senior Leadership team responsible for each area of the business.
- Provide financial leadership to the Head Office Leadership Team and their teams covering forecasting, monthly reporting and analysis, decision support, business case evaluation and ad-hoc projects.
- Attendance at the regular COO and HR SLT meetings, developing and delivering presentations to Senior Executives regarding business performance and metrics that impact business outcomes.
- Help drive business initiatives that serve as a catalyst for change by helping leaders and managers deliver successful change programmes that impact on the business.
- Prompt emergent risks and issues to drive strategic interventions and business action.
- Understand the business’s strategy and operating plans and develop approaches to support objective decision-making across all aspects of the business performance.
- Identify improvements to processes and working practices, including the development of management information, that provide business benefits through improved service and/or cost reduction.
- People management and leadership of 2 Direct Reports to build a high performing team

**What do I need?** Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience in a similar Business Partnering role ideally in a Group FP&A team in a similar company in terms of both size and complexity
- Experience in senior Leadership stakeholder management / relations across head office functions such as COO, HR, Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance.
- Experience in preparing leadership level presentations and distilling complex technical topics to Exec or Board level
- Ability to present financial information in a concise and confident manner to both financial and non-financial staff
- SAP & BPC experience preferred

Education and Qualifications:

- Professional qualification in finance ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar. Extensive experience in a business partner environment, in a similar size and complexity of business.
