We are currently recruiting for a experienced business development manager for our leading business that has been established for well over 20 + years', we specialise within the engineering sector and carry out maintenance and service work on Refrigeration,commercial catering systems.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to grow our team.
Your responsibility as a business development manager will be to generate new business and clients and achieving a stream of income for the business by effectively seeking opportunities which will enable the company to grow.
**Other duties will include**:

- Identify target markets and develop opportunities
- Generate leads by effective marketing and cold calling prospective customers
- Seek out the relevant contracts to approach
- Arrange and attend face to face meetings (some experience within commercial catering/refrigeration would be an advantage)
- Create and deliver a professional, compelling sales presentation
- Develop and maintain a steady sales pipeline
- Achieve first year of sales of up to £800,000

**Experience and additional qualifications**:

- A successful background in sales and business development
- Demonstrable experience of being able to work independently
- The ability to meet short deadlines
- A good, all round sense of business knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
