Blackdog Machinery specialise in the sale of used machinery and sell primarily online to a range of private and trade clients.

Blackdog Machinery are currently looking to recruit a workshop mechanic/technician to work on a full time basis in the preparation for sale of workshop machinery, garden machinery and woodworking equipment.

**Duties**

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Preparation of workshop tools and engineering equipment, e.g. lathes, drills, vices, hand tools.

Preparation for sale of used woodworking machinery including lathes, sanders, morticing machines, drills, saws, dust extractors.

Breakdown of machinery into component parts, e.g. engines, gearboxes, steering components.

Cleaning and repair of garden machinery, lawnmowers, ride-on mowers, grass cutting equipment, strimmers, chainsaws.

Cleaning and power washing equipment and general sales preparation.

Assistance in workshop clearance and moving/loading equipment.

Packing equipment for despatch. Preparing and packing smaller items to be sent by courier and larger items by pallet.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
