As our **new Business Development Manager for UK and Ireland**, you'll develop and execute a sales and go-to-market strategy to grow our partner network and end-user customer base. Helping us scale fast. **Key Job Responsibilities**
- Initiate effective outgoing cold calling plans and schedule appointments to optimise your time and territory potential.
- Qualify prospective partners and customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timelines, and other potential obstacles or opportunities to win.
- Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position the MiR brand as the clear choice in the market.
- Collaborate and build trust with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally regarding product strategy, market trends, technical support and projects with the intent of driving business expansion.
- Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements; orchestrating, through good relationships, the internal and partner resources to drive growth.
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- Ideally, you will a have bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification. You have also acquired a good level of business acumen through a combination of on-the-job experienceand continuous learning/self-study.
- Track record in Technical Sales within Automation and Robotics.
- Proven results in growing channel partnerships (system integrators, distributors, end-users), including navigating complex organisations, onboarding partners, and managing/optimising ongoing relationships.
- A proven track record in sales with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders your sales pipeline. At every stage of its development.
- Team-focused, organised self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, negotiation and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel and have a valid UK driver's license.
- You can expect to attend European meetings at least once per quarter (mainly to MiR's HQ based in Denmark.)
