We have a start-up mentality to our e-commerce channel but within the security of our broader group and it’s highly successful gallery and wholesale channels.

Critical to our online growth will be an exceptional product merchandising and assortment plan that provides our website visitors with the most exciting artists and artwork that are available within our business and ensures that we exhibit these in the most engaging and dynamic way via our websites.

The E-Commerce Assistant role will report directly to the Head of E-Commerce and will sit within our newly created E-Commerce team.

The primary function of the role is to make sure that the right artworks are available on the website and that these are merchandised / presented exceptionally to customers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Own the product assortment of product on the group websites
- Work with the Head of E-commerce to create an online trading and content plan, closely linked to the wider marketing campaign plan
- Produce reports and contribute to reviewing performance on a weekly basis to ensure we are able to deliver our commercial sales plan
- Work closely with our gallery merchandising team to identify product and artist opportunities for the online channel
- Use data insights and analysis to support the E-Commerce strategy and provide ideas for improvement
- Carry out regular site reviews/audits, content checks and updates to identify and improve site content, functionality and experience
- Be the key contact for all analysis and merchandise reporting relating to online product performance, product sales and enquiries. Work closely with the artist management team, marketing and merchandising functions to develop opportunities for our online business

**Essential Skills & Experience;**
- Experience in an e-commerce, merchandising, finance or similar administrative role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and online trading
- Enthusiasm for digital/e-commerce and desire to learn
- Confidence in suggesting new ideas based on data

***Desirable Skills & Experience;**
- Experience of Google Analytics
- Experience of product feeds or feed management tools
- Experience of PowerBI or similar tools
- Experience of Shopify
- A background in retail or similar industry
