Hi, Job and Talent are looking for a QHSE Co-ordinator to work at a large international logistics firm.
The client has decades of experience in B2B and B2C and significant investments in innovation have put them in a strong position to capitalize on the tailwinds in the industry. These tailwinds include customer demand for advanced automation, the ongoinggrowth e-commerce and the trend toward outsourcing supply chain services.
**Job Description for QHSE Co-ordinator**:
- Provide administrative support to the QHSE Manager including data entry, creating processes, documentation management, organisation charts and personnel documentation. In addition, you will assist with the administrative tasks connected to our hub - i.e.,permits, inspection rounds, recording and auditing of risk assessments etc,
- Management of in-house non-conformance and improvement reports and preparation of KPI data.
- Assist with the maintenance of and protect confidential information (GDPR)
- Assist with the ISO Audit procedure for all three ISO standards (9001: 2015, 14001:2015 and 45001: 2018
- Perform general administrative support, assistance, and other related duties as and when required for the role of QHSE
- Manage any accident investigations, hazard and near miss reporting and ensure corrective and preventative actions are put in place
- Engage with all staff on site.
**Responsibilities For QHSE Co-ordinator**:
- Support the implementation of good health and safety practices and management in regard to the UK site.
- Review and update Health & Safety documentation
- Undertake project and systems audits, complete and distribute audit reports and track findings to closure
- Maintain Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental information
- Monitor Corrective Action compliance
- Demonstrate and promote safety leadership
- Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance for ISO 9001
- Assist in supplier and subcontractor approval
- Assist with maintaining our membership of procurement platforms
- Maintain, process and format documentation
- Prepare H&S incident and KPI reporting
- Prepare Environmental KPI reporting
- Keep abreast of legislation, regulations and industry standards impacting the Company's policy
- Assist QHSE Manager on any other duties as required
**Requirements For QHSE Co-ordinator**:
- Must have applied knowledge of QHSE Management Systems
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Must be able to work without constant supervision
- Excellent reading, proof-reading, editing, and technical writing skills and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Experience of auditing
- Must be a team player and interact well with others
- Must have proficient computer and software skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio), and web-based software
- Experience with document control/document management software an advantage
- NEBOSH preferred
- Previous experience of coordinating and getting involved in Health & Safety and Environmental standards management either as a sole responsibility or in conjunction with another job role
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
- Base knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001
- Willingness and ambitions to study towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (Advantage if already achieved)
