Paterson Health and Social Care are recruiting experienced Support Workers in the Bicester area, with a passion for working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. - Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
- Minimum 12 months experience working with an agency or 6 months in a permanent role
- Excellent communication and interpretational skills
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Dedicated, honest and reliable
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Daily tasks will often include personal care, meal preparation and manual handling
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's behavior or health conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
